The Studierendenwerk Mannheim endeavours to make its website accessible in accordance with § 10 paragraph 1 of the Landesbehindertengleichstellungsgesetz (L-BGG).

1. status of compatibility with the requirements
This website is only partially compatible with § 10 paragraph 1 L-BGG due to the following points.
2 Non-accessible content
The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:
2.1 Unreasonable burden:
- Alternative texts have not yet been added to all images and graphics across the board. The alternative texts will be reviewed gradually and revised in accordance with the accessibility guidelines.
- Documents in PDF format that are offered on the website are not all accessible at present. They will be checked step by step and optimised in the near future.
- For technical reasons, the image sliders (on the homepage) cannot contain alternative texts, as these are background graphics. Sliders cannot be paused individually.
3. additional notes
- The website uses a large and legible font size. However, if you would like to enlarge the font, please use your browser’s font enlargement options.
- The hamburger menu (main navigation at the top right) can only be operated at first level using the keyboard. Navigation is not impaired, as all other menu sub-items are fully accessible via the sub-navigation of the main areas.
