Terms and conditions for the “Advent competition” on Instagram

1. By participating in the competition on Instagram, the user accepts these terms and conditions.
2. The organizer of the competition is the Studierendenwerk Mannheim AöR, L7, 8 in 68161 Mannheim.
3. The last opportunity to participate in the aforementioned promotion ends on December 19, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.
4. Each person is only allowed to participate once per question.
5. The competition is open to residents of Germany who have reached the age of 16.
6. Employees of the Studierendenwerk Mannheim AöR and their relatives are not allowed to participate in the competition.
7. Students from Mannheim who answer the quiz questions correctly with a direct message and follow us on Instagram from November 27, 2024 (10:00 a.m.) to December 19, 2024 (10:00 a.m.) are eligible to win. The answers to the individual questions will always be provided within 48 hours (except for question 4 – after 24 hours). The answers must be submitted by direct message before the respective answer is provided.
8. The 3 winners will be randomly drawn from all participants and notified via direct message.
9. The winners must contact the official Instagram page of the Studierendenwerk Mannheim via private Instagram message by January 24, 2025 at the latest after notification. Otherwise, the claim to the prize will be forfeited.
10. We are giving away 3 x dining hall vouchers in the amount of €100, €50 and €25. The vouchers will be loaded directly onto the winners’ chip cards (student ID cards).
11. The prize is non-transferable, cannot be exchanged and cannot be paid out in cash.
12. Studierendenwerk Mannheim is entitled to make changes to the prize. In this case, the winners will receive an appropriate substitute prize.
13. The judges’ decision is final.
14. Participation via competition clubs, automated services or other service providers is not permitted.

16. Should individual clauses be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining clauses shall remain unaffected. The user relationship between the participants and the Studierendenwerk Mannheim is governed by German law.
17. Studierendenwerk Mannheim reserves the right to end the competition at any time, in whole or in part, without observing deadlines. This applies in particular if, for technical (e.g. manipulation) or legal reasons (e.g. prohibition by Instagram, proper execution is not guaranteed.
18. This promotion is not connected to Instagram and is in no way sponsored, endorsed or organized by Instagram. By participating in this contest, all participants release Instagram from any claims or liability in connection with the contest. Instagram is not available as a point of contact for the competition.
