Advertising at the Studierendenwerk
The canteens and cafeterias of the Studierendenwerk at the five supervised universities are visited daily by thousands of guests, primarily students.
Advertising there is possible, but requires the consent of the Studierendenwerk. Prior authorisation is required for all advertising activities – e.g. promotional campaigns, flyer distribution, advertising stands – on Studierendenwerk premises. This applies in particular to canteens and cafeterias.
Costs for advertising stands
For information stands/info tables/promotional activities etc. the Studierendenwerk charges a fee from 400.00 Euro / day plus VAT. The fee must be paid in advance upon registration (see contact).
In the case of student-accredited initiatives, the Studierendenwerk can waive the charge. Here too, prior registration at the Infothek is required.
Flyers
Flyers may not be displayed in the canteen and cafeteria tables. If flyers are nevertheless found on the tables, a fee of 400.00 euros / day plus VAT will be charged.
However, flyers may be distributed by hand as part of a promotion (see costs for advertising stands).

Monitor advertising
In the Mensaria am Schloss (University Campus) and in the Mensa of Mannheim University of Applied Sciences, a number of monitors are available for the clear presentation of the extensive menu offerings, as well as for advertising and promotional purposes. Conditions for non-university providers on request.
The presentation is free of charge for events organised by student initiatives or associated universities. Campaign and sponsorship slides are excluded.
Note: The Studierendenwerk accepts no liability for the content or accuracy of the monitor slides broadcast. Should you become aware of a copyright infringement, please inform us accordingly. If we become aware of any legal infringements, we will remove such content immediately.
Banner
Several banner areas are available for advertising in the Mensaria am Schloss for a fee: Dining hall 250 x 250 cm (2 x available), foyer 120 x 240 cm, outside 115 x 295 cm (2 x available, above entrance).
